I am so delighted with my Claddagh ring. The details of the ring are phenomenal, truly of the highest quality, and the polishing of the ring means there is no chance of hot-spots arising from daily wear.
The ring has a presence in terms of design and weight, the attention to detail celtic knotwork on the band was not overlooked and really compliments the traditional claddagh. All in all, I have to say that this is a fine Claddagh ring, particularly for a man, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Purchased a claddagh wedding ring to replace my original which was lost on vacation. I had purchased the original Solvar claddagh ring from a jewelry store in Ireland. I decided to make my replacement purchase directly thru Solvar and I’m glad I did. Not only were they Very easy to deal with, but this ring is a little bit wider than the original and looks like an upgrade in quality. Not sure if there was a design change or if Solvar sells one quality to the stores and another direct. Either way I’m glad I went direct.
The ring is beautiful and the size was perfect. The quality is great it is heavy and very bright.
The only thing I would change is the chain. I bought this same cross fior my older grandson and he loves it, except the chain is too delicate for a young boy. Now that I know that, I will buy 2 heavier chains so both my grandsons can wear them, now, while they are younger. Perfect First Communion gift! It’s a beautiful Celtic Cross!
