When ordering online you are always taking a gamble the first time you order from a new place. I am very picky and like things to be exactly as listed. I read the descriptions of everything checked weights/grams and other reviews. I am based in NY and I am so pleasantly surprised!! While there was no heavier gram weight version on any sites anywhere this was the heaviest I could find in the style I was looking for and its PERFECT, I bought one for my mother and one for myself in silver so if we get robbed in ny we are not out gold prices lol. The quality IS IRISH PERFECTION. I also ordered myself a St. Brigid cross and Solvar had theeeee nicest version and BONUS THE SHIPPING WAS AMAZING came SOOOOOO quick and was packed beautifully. Will be checking every so often for new additions to see if there are new items of interest (also Solvar please make special order options for heavier weights as my dads claddagh was custom 14 gram weight and I bend gold as he did, also maybe a claddagh bangle or cuff??) SO PLEASED with all 3 of my purchases!

The cross is beautiful. I love it. The clasp on the chain is way too small and very difficult to open and close especially when one is doing it ones self, reaching back behind the neck.

I bought this for my daughter's 18th birthday and it is perfect... even better than I expected. My daughter can be quite particular and she was thrilled. Just the right size for a female hand, not too delicate, not too big. It is a very nice weight, feels and looks well made (and quite honestly, like it cost more than it did). Already giving my kids the hint that when they get a little older, they can pitch in and buy one for me. If you are looking for a claddagh ring, you will not be disappointed with this.
Had bought a replacement ring after having to have my last one from here cut off to have a medical procedure, while the new one is nice its much thinner and lacks that uniqueness the older one was, the older one was much thicker silver and had a beautiful shape to it.
We bought one of these necklaces for our Mum, Bridget Ann, 8 years ago for her 80th birthday, and she absolutely adored it. She recently passed o. 6th Feb just days after her 88th birthday, on St Brigids day 1st Feb. The ring was shipped very quickly and was exactly what my aunt wanted.
I wanted a present for my son’s 21st. A Celtic cross fitted the bill. Without being in a shop it’s difficult to envisage the size of a piece of jewellery. Although the Connemara marble one we were looking at seemed like a good fit I needed to know whether it was suitable for a young male. There was no model photo available but I received the dimensions of the cross itself. My main in concern was whether the chain was suitable for a young man and I tired to get some advice on this point; though I didn’t receive any. When the piece arrived my first impression was the chain was too fine; and my partner said the same when she saw it. It was too close to his birthday to do anything so we gave it to him. He likes it and was wearing it happily enough but I’d have been happier with a more masculine chain. I’m not a jewellery expert but I don’t think I’m wrong in thinking that some chains fit male or female form better. For an item in this price range I was disappointed that no such advice was forthcoming.
